Irina Bogdanova is a young Russian soprano, who obtained her Bachelor’s degree in 2018 from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg with Prof. Carolyn James. She is continuing her Master studies at the Hochschule für Musik „Hanns Eisler” with Prof. Anna Samuil.
Irina Bogdanova won First Prize at the Triomphe de l’Art Competition 2019, at the Gustav-Mahler-Wettbewerb 2018, at the Mozart Competition 2018 (Absalom-Stiftung) and at the “Maritim Musikpreis 2017”. She reached the finals at Bundeswettbewerb Gesang 2020 and 2018, Salice d’Oro Competition 2019 and was a scholarship recipient of Berenberg Kulturstiftung, the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e.V. and the Johannes-Brahms-Stiftung Hamburg.
Apassionate concert singer, Irina Bogdanova has appeared at the Elbphilharmonie, in St. Petri Church Hamburg, in the Vier-Länder-Konzert Rostock, broadcast by NDR, a.o.
