BIOGRAPHY
Young Argentinian soprano Ivana Ledesma has just received her Master’s degree from the Liceu Conservatoire Superior in Barcelona. She completed her studies by performing Fiordiligi Cosi fan tutte at the Liceu auditorium. This season she appeared as Violetta La Traviata in Burgos and will be performing Liu Turandot in the production of Opera Catalunya in various cities, including Sabadell, Tarragona, Girona.
In her native Argentina Ivana Ledesma has sung a broad variety of leading roles, such as Liu Turandot, Micaela Carmen, Nedda I Pagliacci, Rosalinde Die Fledermaus, Hanna Glawari Die lustige Witwe, Violetta La Traviata, Musetta La Bohème, Giulietta Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Lauretta Gianni Schicchi, Bess Porgy and Bess, Erste Dame Die Zauberflöte.
Ivana Ledesma began her studies in Rosario, Argentina, and continued them at Instituto Superior de Artes del Teatro Colon. She became prizewinner at the competitions Corsica Lirica 2023, Les Corts Competition 2023 (Barcelona), SOI Fiorenza Cedolins Online Competition, Maria Callas Brazilian Singing Contest, Marmo all’Opera 2022, Ciudad Trujillo, Enrique Francovigh, a.o. She has participated in master classes at the Royal Opera House in London, at the Tenerife Opera Studio and studied Italian repertoire with Giulio Zappa.
