Biography

David Esteban, Italo-Ecuadorian tenor, received his Bachelor’s degree at the Conservatory in Naples, Italy, and was a member of the Centro de Perfeccionamento Placido Domingo in Valencia 2014/2015. He obtained then a Master’s degree from the Conservatory of Valencia and from the Opernschule Stuttgart, Germany.

His first roles were Flavio/ Norma and Abdallo/ Nabucco at Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Duca/ Rigoletto at the Wilhelma Theater in Stuttgart, Don José/ Carmen with Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg, in the Auditorio de Zaragoza and at the Tirana National Theatre as well as Rodolfo/ La Bohème in Stadthalle Balingen.

In the autumn 2018 David Esteban joined the ensemble of Theater Krefeld Mönchengladbach and is singing Chevalier de la Force/ Dialogues des Carmélites, Tamino/ Die Zauberflöte, Orpheus/ Orpheus in der Unterwelt, Laertes/ Hamlet, Simpleton/ Boris Godunov in his first season.

As a concert singer David Esteban has sung Bruckner’s Te Deum at Liederhalle Stuttgart, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle in Stuttgart, Bergamo and Pavia. In June 2019 he will sing his first Verdi Requiem at the Palau de la Musica in Barcelona.
