Biography
Young Armenian soprano Nune Grigoryan graduated in 2015 with excellence from the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan, where she studied with professor Raffayel Hakobyanc. She has participated in the masterclasses of Barbara Frittoli, Masimiliano Bullo, Orlin Anastassov, Axel Everart, Montserrat Caballé, Gegam Grigoryan, Lianna Aleksanyan, Lianna Harutyunyan and Hasmik Papyan.
In 2015, she joined the Young Artist Program of the National Academic Theatre of Yerevan, where she studied under the guidance of Levon Javadyan. She became a member of the soloist ensemble of the Armenian National Opera in 2019. Parallel to her studies she worked as a soloist at the Paronyan musical comedy theater.
Over the past years she has sung roles such as Clorinda La Cenerentola, Adina L'elisir d'amore, Dido Dido and Aeneas, Zemfira Aleko, Violetta La Traviata and Mimi La Boheme. Her new roles in Yerevan include the title role in Madama Butterfly, Liu Turandot, as well as Micaela Carmen.
Nune Grigoryan has worked with several internationally acclaimed conductors, such as Alessandro Bonatto and Stefano Intrieri. In 2019 she performed the soprano solo in Bach's Magnificat at the Komitas chamber music hall, conducted by Gianluca Marcianò.
