Moscow based Polina Bakanova is the head of the vocal department of the Kalinnikov Children's Art School and since 2016 and Art Director of the concert organization "Concerts and Performances" Since 2018, the soloist and creative director of the concert agency “Opera di Mosca”. She is a member of the jury of Russian and international competitions and is fluent in many languages, such as Russian, English and Italian.
Polina graduated from the vocal department of the International Slavic University in Moscow in 2007 and continued studies Italy with Margarita Guglielmi. In 2004, she made her debut as a singer in "Eugene Onegin" by Tchaikovsky, in the role of Olga At the Prokofiev Opera Theater Studio, Moscow. Her recordings include Gaetano Luporini’s “Nora”, the role of Katerina and Pietro Mascagni’s "Cavalleria rusticana", the role of Mamma Lucia. Polina Bakanova has toured in South Korea, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Poland.
Polina took part in the workshops of Vazha Chachava, Elena Obraztsova, Marcello Lippi, Olga Popikyan, Elizabeth Battaglia. Since 2015 she is the soloist of the "World Talents Foundation" by David Gvinianidze.
