Biography

Ukrainian tenor Nazariy Sadivskyy studied at the National Music Academy in Kiev. In productions of their opera studio he performed the roles of Lensky in Eugen Onegin and Basilio in Le nozze die Figaro. In 2008-2012 he toured extensively with the Kiev Symphony Orchestra in Canada, USA, Poland a.o.

In 2016 he was invited to participate in the Internationale Opernwerkstatt/ Festival der jungen Stimmen in Switzerland which led to a further invitation for the role of Belmonte in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, which he performed in 2017 with the Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden at the festival Schlossoper Haldenstein.

Nazariy Sadivskyy joined the ensemble of the Konzert Theater Bern in the autumn 2017 and has since sung the roles of Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Tamino in the children’s version of Die Zauberflöte, Vanya Kurdjash in Katya Kabanova, Dancairo in Carmen, Ruiz in Il Trovatore, Lieutenant Jashvin in Hubay’s Anna Karenina and Advocat in Schoeck’s Das Schloss Dürande (concert performance with a live CD recording under the baton of Mario Venzago). New roles in 2018/2019 include Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte, Berengario in Händel’s Lotario, Stimme eines jungen Seemanns in Tristan und Isolde and Soldat in Boesmans‘ opera Reigen.
