Biography

Ukrainian tenor Nazariy Sadivskyy studied at the National Music Academy in Kiev. In student productions he performed Lensky/ Eugen Onegin and Basilio/ Le nozze die Figaro. In 2008-2012 he toured extensively with the Kiev Symphony Orchestra in Canada, USA, Poland, a.o. In 2016 he was invited to participate in the Internationale Opernwerkstatt and Festival der jungen Stimmen in Switzerland, which led to a further invitation as Belmonte/ Die Entführung aus dem Serail with the Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden with Schlossoper Haldenstein 2017.

Nazariy Sadivskyy joined the ensemble of the Konzert Theater Bern in the autumn 2017 and has made role debuts as Ferrando/ Cosi fan tutte, Don Ottavio/ Don Giovanni, Tamino in the children’s version of Die Zauberflöte, Hans/ Die verkaufte Braut, Edrisi in Szymanowski’s King Roger, Kurdjash/ Katya Kabanova, Berengario in Händel’s Lotario, Dancairo/ Carmen, Ruiz/ Il Trovatore, Stimme eines jungen Seemanns/ Tristan und Isolde, Der junge Herr in Boesmans‘ opera Reigen, Lieutenant Jashvin in Hubay’s Anna Karenina and Advocat in Schoeck’s Das Schloss Dürande in a concert performance with a live CD recording, conducted by Mario Venzago. In the 2020/2021 season his new roles include Steva/ Jenufa, Alfred/ Die Fledermaus, Cassio/ Otello and Flavio/ Norma.
