In spite of her young age, Italian coloratura soprano Bianca Tognocchi has sung a broad range of roles, such as Adina (L’Elisir d’Amore), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Ninetta (La finta semplice), Serpina (La Serva Padrona), Livietta (Livietta e Tracollo), Fanny (La cambiale di matrimonio) with AsLiCo Pocket Opera, Lucia di Lammermoor at Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) and Giulia (La Scala di Seta) and Adina (L’Elisir d’Amore) in Pavia, Jesi, Cremona, Brescia and Como, Sandmännchen and Taumännchen (Hänsel und Gretel) at Teatro Regio in Turin and Nannetta (Falstaff) at the Ravenna Festival. In 2015 she portrayed Giannetta in L’Elisir d’Amore in Teatro alla Scala’s live broadcast production at the Malpensa Airport. Since 2012 she has performed regularly at the Tiroler Festspiele in Erl, directed by Gustav Kuhn singing Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Waldvogel (Siegfried), Gemmy (Guglielmo Tell), soprano solo in Orff’s Carmina Burana, Bach’s Messe h-moll and Weihnachtsoratorium as well as in the inauguration concert of the new theatre in Erl and New Year’s concerts. Upcoming roles in Erl include Elvira in L’Italiana in Algeri and Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
Bianca Tognocchi graduated in 2010 from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatorio in Milan. She is a prizewinner and a finalist of several international competitions.
