Hailed by the New York Times as a "vibrant soprano...with a secure, appealing sound and eyeopening volume," Rebecca returned to Santa Fe Opera in 2016 to cover Countess in Strauss’ Capriccio. During her studies at Manhattan School of Music she already performed roles like Alice Ford, Salud (La vida breve), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte) and the title role of Thaïs. At Des Moines Metro Opera she covered several roles including Donna Anna and Ellen Orford. Recent engagements include Cynthia in the Metropolitan Opera's workshop of Muhly’s Two Boys, Amaltea cover (Mosè in Egitto) at New York City Opera, Violetta with Kentucky Opera, Micaela (Carmen) with El Paso Opera and another Micaela (Tragédie de Carmen) with Des Moines Metro Opera, where she also sang recently Annina (La traviata) and 5th Maid (Elektra). At Minnesota Opera, she sang Louella Parsons (Dream of Valentino) and covered the title role in Strauss' Arabella. She will be performing 1st Lady (Die Zauberflöte) 2016/17 in Luzern, Switzerland.
