American soprano Tina Marie Herbert received her Bachelor’s degree at Ball State University, Indiana, USA. In 2012 she was chosen by Renata Scotto for the opera studio at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Rome. While earning her Master’s degree at the Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media, Tina Marie Herbert gained her first professional stage experience at Theater Osnabrück as Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore and in Telemann’s oratorio Der aus der Löwengrube errettete Daniel. She performed Anna Reich in Die Lustige Weiber von Windsor, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Zerlina in Don Giovanni and Monica in The Medium in student productions.
From 2014 to 2017 Tina Marie Herbert was an ensemble member of Landestheater Schleswig-Holstein in Flensburg, where her repertoire included Adele in Die Fledermaus, Despina in Così fan tutte, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Maria in West Side Story, Frasquita in Carmen, Valencienne in Die Lustige Witwe, Stasi in Die Csárdásfürstin, Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel and the soprano solo of Carmina Burana.
Tina Marie Herbert made her debut at Staatsoper Hannover in 2017/2018 as Miranda in Stephen MacNeff’s children’s opera Gentle Giant and performed Papagena in a new production of Die Zauberflöte.
