Young Russian soprano Anastasia Donets is a member of the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers. In 2017 she wond 3rd prize at the Elena Obraztsova Competition in St. Petersburg as well as 3rd prize at the Pavel Lisitsian Competition.
In 2016 Anastasia Donets made her debut at the Mariinsky Theater as Gerda in Sergey Banevich’s opera The Story of Kai and Gerda. Since then she regularly performs on the Mariinsky stage. Her repertoire includes Silvia/ Haydn’s L’isola disabitata, Sofia/ Rossini’s Il signor Bruschino, Serpetta/ Mozart’s La finta giardiniera, Noemi/ Massenet’s Cendrillon and Nastenka/ Yuri Butsko’s White nights.
Anastasia Donets graduated with distinction from the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts GITIS in Moscow. As a student she performed Euridice/ Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice, Carolina/ Cimarosa’s Il matrimonio segreto and 1.Dame/ Die Zauberflöte at the Stanislavski and Nemirovich- Danchenko Academic State Music Theatre. In 2015 she was a trainee at the Lyric Academy of the Monte-Carlo Opéra, where she participated in a gala concert at the Garnier Hall of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. The same year she gave a recital at the Opéra d’Avignon with pianist Kira Parfeevets.
