Biography
Kamile Bonté is a young Lithuanian soprano who graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2020. She drew attention with her beautiful timbre and unforced vocal power at the 11th Klaudia Taev Competition 2019 winning 3rd prize. As of the 2021/2022 season she is a member of the opera studio at the Lithuanian National Opera and is made her role debuts as Marguerite Faust and Mimi La Bohème. In the summer 2022 she performed Mimi at the Oper Klosterneuburg in Austria.
In the autumn 2021 she appeared as Zaida in Rossini's Il Turco in Italia with PromFest in Estonia and Lithuania. She sang the role of Anna in Puccini's Le Villi in concert with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra at the Pazaislis Festival as well as the leading soprano role in a zarzuela production at the Lithuanian National Opera. In a student production she performed Fiordiligi Cosi fan tutte in 2020.
