Biography

Young Macedonian baritone Zhive Kremshovski studied first at the Music Academy in Skopje. For his Master’s degree, he continued his studies at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen. In student productions at the Neue Aula of the Folkwang University of the Arts he has performed Conte in Le nozze di Figaro and Belcore in L`elisir d`amore as well as Oronte in Charpentier’s Médée.

As a guest he has appeared with Schlossfestspiele Wernigerode as Kilian in Der Freischütz in 2016. At the Macedonian State Opera, Theater Bitola and Theater Tetovo he performed Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte in 2014.

Zhive Kremshovski became a member of the Young Ensemble at the Musiktheater im Revier in 2017/2018. His roles in Gelsenkirchen have included Belcore in L`elisir d`amore, Schlemihl in Les Contes d’ Hoffmann, Priest in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, 2.Comissaire/ Thierry/ Javelinot/ Le geôlier in Dialogues des Carmélites and Fyodor Mikhailovich Drebednev in Shostakovich’s Moscow, Cheryomushki.

Zhive Kremshovski has won 1st prize at the Bruna Spiler Competition in Montenegro, 1st prize at the Nikola Cvejic Competition in Serbia and has been awarded scholarships from the Lions Club Essen-Werethina and Landesregierung NRW.
